White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt said that President Donald Trump may ask Arab nations to help share Iran war costs. She added that discussions related to the Iran conflict are progressing and some proposals have received a positive response.

During a press briefing, Leavitt stated that a timeline of four to six weeks remains in place regarding the situation. She explained that there is often a difference between private discussions and public statements. Therefore, any commitments made privately will be carefully evaluated.

Furthermore, she said President Trump is interested in involving Gulf countries in covering war expenses. However, she clarified that this idea is still under consideration and no final decision has been made yet. The President will decide after reviewing all options.

Meanwhile, the spokesperson noted that the United States does not support Iran’s proposal to charge toll taxes in the Strait of Hormuz. She added that around 20 oil tankers are expected to pass through the route in the coming days, indicating continued activity.

In conclusion, Trump may ask Arab nations to share Iran war costs as discussions continue. However, Iran has denied any direct talks with the US, stating that messages were exchanged only through intermediaries, which adds uncertainty to the ongoing situation.
